Alaska Native man competing for Cosmo's Bachelor of the Year
Curtis Hembroff, a member of the Kenaitze Tribe of Alaska, is one of the hottest bachelors in America, according to Cosmopolitan magazine.

Hembroff, 31, is representing the state in Cosmo's 2010 Bachelor Blowout. His mother's uncle was George Miller, one of the founders of Cook Inlet Region Inc., an Alaska Native regional corporation.

"I'm a huge admirer of my uncle and hope to follow his lead," Hembroff told The Anchorage Daily News. On his father's side, he is Lakota.

If Hembroff wins the competition, he plans to donate the $10,000 cash prize to a non-profit. Voting is taking place online.
