Chickasaw woman and partner lose home in possible hate crime
A woman from the Chickasaw Nation and her partner were the victims of arson and the couple believes it's a hate crime.

Laura Stutte and her partner, Carol Ann, lost their home in Knoxville, Tennessee, on September 4. They say a neighbor had made threats against them.

“We really hope the investigators can go forward; we know who wrote those threats,” Carol Anne Stutte told Metro Pulse. “But goodness, get them some help! Anyone who could go so far as to paint those hateful letters and burn someone else’s house down, they really are disturbed.”

The FBI and local authorities are treating the case as a possible hate crime though a determination hasn't been made.
