Mohegan Tribe names acting chairman in preparation for election
The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut will hold a special election in October to choose a new member of the council.

The council needs a new member to replace Lynn Malerba. She was serving as chairman until she was tapped to serve as chief, a lifetime position.

For now, Bruce S. Bozsum, a former chairman of the tribe, is serving as acting chairman.
