The Picayune Rancheria of the Chukchansi Indians in California is diversifying its economy with a new retail center.
The tribe will break ground on the Chukchansi Crossing in August. The project will include a gas station, convenience store, restaurants and retail outlets.
Chukchansi Crossing is the latest venture of Mighty Oak Capital, the tribe's investment vehicle.
