New Mexico panel urges Indian school to save famed venue

The New Mexico Cultural Properties Review Committee unanimously passed a resolution calling on Santa Fe Indian School to save the famed Paolo Soleri Amphitheater.

The state doesn't have jurisdiction over the campus, which is located on trust land. But state and local officials, along with alumni of the school, they don't want to see the historic venue disappear.

The school is operated by the All Indian Pueblo Council.
