Man believed he was going to be killed, buried at Pechanga
A California father faces numerous charges after allegedly threatening to kill and bury a man on the Pechanga Reservation.

The incident between William Atwood Sr., 45, and Justin Moore, 23, began when Moore allegedly sent Atwood's 17-year-old daughter an explicit cell phone picture. Atwood asked Moore to come to his family's home to discuss the picture.

"If I don't get back, let everyone know," Moore told a friend in a text message, The Riverside Press-Enterprise reported.

After Moore arrived at the home, he was allegedly told to remove his clothing. Atwood allegedly fired a gun at Moore and tied him up.

Atwood allegedly told Moore that he had connections to the Pechanga Band of Luiseno Indians. He said he would have Moore buried there.

Atwood has been charged with making criminal threats, false imprisonment, assault with a stun gun, assault with a deadly weapon and other gun-related offenses.
