Shoshone-Bannock Tribes finally use new detention facility
The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes are finally making use of a new detention facility on the Fort Hall Reservation in Idaho.

The tribe transferred 42 inmates from the Old Fort Hall jail to the new justice center last Friday. There's more space for the inmates and it's more secure at the new facility.

"We noted such a change in their demeanor, such a change from the old to the new," chief of corrections Paul Guisande told KIDK-TV.

Eight inmates escaped from the old jail during a one-month period. After the last incident, the tribe fired the chief of corrections and brought in Guisande.
