Nearly two dozen busted in meth ring on Navajo Nation
Tribal, federal and state authorities announced charges against 22 people in connection with a methamphetamine ring on the Navajo Nation.

Authorities said the ring was connected to Mexican drug cartels and to off-reservation communities. "We believe in taking this action we have broken key links in the supply chain to the Navajo Nation," said Arizona U.S. Attorney Dennis Burke, the Associated Press reported.

Burke said up to 95 percent of cases handled by his office are linked to drugs.
