Six people charged for stealing from Fort Peck Tribes
Six people pleaded not guilty in connection with the theft of $1 million from the Fort Peck Tribes of Montana.

Two Interior Department employee and four tribal employees are accused of running a 10-year scam in the tribe's credit department. Federal prosecutors said the group approved loans to themselves and family members in violation of program rules.

Another Interior employee who was involved in the scheme died in 2008, according to prosecutors.
