Donations aid Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe after storm
Members of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe of South Dakota are still digging out of a severe winter storm that knocked out power and water on the reservation.

But the situation has been made a bit easier thanks to donations of money and supplies from other tribes and individuals across the country. "If we didn't have the donations to relieve us, we definitely would have had some casualties out there," Chairman Joseph Brings Plenty told KELO-TV.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency is on the reservation this week to assess damage. About 14,000 people had lost power and water.

A pre-built medical clinic is on the way too, after being delayed by the storm.
