School points to improvements among Indian students
A public school district in California says test scores among Indian students are improving, along with relations between Indian and Hispanic students.

About 75 percent of the student body in the Round Valley Unified School District are American Indian. Most are members of the Round Valley Indian Tribes.

Test scores at the elementary and high school have improved in the last two years, after a new team of administrators was brought in. The high school went 82 days without any physical fights last year.

The school district is taking more steps to include Indian culture into the curriculum.
