Tribal college on Crow Reservation celebrates 30 years
Little Big Horn College, a tribal college on the Crow Reservation in Montana, celebrates its 30th anniversary this week.

The Crow Tribe chartered the college in 1980. The school had 32 students in 1981 and now averages more than 300 each term, The Billings Gazette reported.

“When I thought about the progression of the college, I knew it had to start with an idea,” President David Yarlott Jr said in a press release. “They had to have a vision.”

The school offers two- and four-year programs.
