Ute man appears in federal court for multiple charges
Keith Carlan Nez, a member of the Ute Tribe of Utah, appeared in federal court to face assault charges from two separate incidents.

On September 19, 2009, Nez allegedly stabbed a man outside a home on the reservation. A few weeks later, on October 2, he allegedly stabbed two other men at a party.

Nez was charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon.
