The Choctaw Nation is the first in Oklahoma with a crime scene investigator team.
Terry Cole and Dr. Ian Thompson recently completed an archeological law enforcement class. They will assist authorities with grave robbing and artifact theft cases.
"The grave robbing that's going on, are our ancestors, that's our people that they're robbing,” Cold told KXII-TV.
The tribe hopes to share its knowledge with local and federal agencies.
