House panel to consider Indian arts, Hawaiian bill
The House Natural Resources Committee holds an open markup session tomorrow.

Two bills of note are on the agenda. They are:
H.R. 725, the Indian Arts and Crafts Amendments Act of 2009, a bill that will strengthen the Indian Arts and Crafts Act of 1990 by authorizing "any" federal law enforcement officer to investigate suspected violations of the law.
H.R.2314, a bill to extend the policy of self-determination to Native Hawaiians.

The markup takes place at 10am in Room 1324 of the Longworth House Office Building. It will be webcast on the committee site.
