Indian Affairs Committee hearing on recognition
The Senate Indian Affairs Committee will hold an oversight hearing on federal recognition on Wednesday, November 4.

The hearing is titled "Fixing the Federal Acknowledgment Process." Sen. Byron Dorgan (D-North Dakota), the chairman of the committee, has said the process is "broken."

The hearing takes place at 2:15pm on Room 628 of the Senate Dirksen Office Building.
