Indian abuse victims face deadline to sue
Indian victims of Jesuit priest abuse in Montana, Washington and Idaho have until November 30 to file claims against the church.

The deadline was set as part of bankruptcy proceedings for the Oregon Province of the Society of Jesus. Once it passes, no one can sue the church for abuse.

The Tamaki Law Firm has been sending attorneys to reservations to inform victims of their rights. "We have been slowly but surely turning up survivors," attorney Bryan Smith told The Great Falls Tribune.
