Groundbreaking for train station on Pueblo land
The state of New Mexico will break ground today on a train station at Santo Domingo Pueblo.

The state will build a platform for the Rail Runner Express and a parking lot on the reservation. Money for the $2.1 million project came from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

The Rail Runner opened earlier this year and passes through four reservations: Santo Domingo, San Felipe, Sandia and Isleta pueblos. The state will break ground on a station at Sandia Pueblo later this year.
