Chickasaw Nation to honor four at ceremony

The Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma will induct four of its members to the Chickasaw Nation Hall of Fame.

This year's honorees are Lisa Johnson-Billy, a state legislator; Overton “Sobe” Love, who was a state judge in the 1800s; Tessie “Lushanya” Mobley, an operatic soprano known as the “Songbird of the Chickasaws," and Daniel Worcester, an accomplished blade smith.

The ceremony takes place on Thursday at the Riverwind Casino. The event is open to the public.
