Meskwaki Nation set for 95th annual powwow
The Meskwaki Nation of Iowa kicks off its 95th annual powwow on Thursday.

The event runs through Sunday at the powwow grounds along the Iowa River. Grand entry takes place every day at 1pm and 7pm.

"That's where the spectators can get a real big sense of how much our people are connected to our culture," Yolanda Pushetonequa of the Meskwaki Annual Powwow Association told The Marshalltown Times-Republican.
