Agents remove artifacts from Utah family's home
A team of federal agents removed an undisclosed number of Indian artifacts from the home of a family in Utah.

Some of the items might be repatriated to tribes, a Bureau of Land Management official said. Others might end up on display in federal facilities.

The items were taken from the home of Jeanne Redd and her late husband, James Redd. The couple were among 24 people indicted for the theft and sale of Indian artifacts from public and Indian lands.

Jeanne Redd and her daughter pleaded guilty on Monday. James Redd committed suicide a day after Interior Secretary Ken Salazar announced the indictments on June 10.
