Paiute tribes in Utah plant trees for future
The Paiute Tribe of Utah and the Fruit Tree Planting Foundation have been busy planting trees.

The Shivwitz Band of Paiute Indians planted 55 trees with the help of the foundation. The Cedar Band of Paiute Indians planted 30 trees.

"These trees will be here long after we're gone for the next generation," Cem Akin, the foundation's executive director, told The St. George Spectrum.

The goal of the project is to provide environmental and nutritional for the tribes.
