Dry Creek Band holds long-delayed election
The Dry Creek Band of Pomo Indians of California held a long-delayed election for the board of directors on Saturday.

Chairman Harvey Hopkins, vice chairman Gus Pena and Gabe Nevarez, a member at large, were re-elected by voters. Two newcomers -- Selvina Norris as secretary-treasurer and Marina Price-Nojima as a member at large.-- also won seats to the board.

The original election was halted after a dispute about the eligibility of some candidates. The tribe then became embroiled in a membership dispute.
