Tribes control site of Four Corners monument
The Four Corners monument, the only place in the U.S. where four states meet, is in the wrong place.

The monument is located on the Navajo Nation. But it should be about 2.5 miles away, on the Ute Mountain Ute Reservation.

The National Geodetic Survey said it discovered the mistake after consulting satellite maps and GPS units. It would be up to the two tribes to determine whether to move the marker, federal officials said.
