Crow Tribe lays off 180 seasonal employees
The Crow Tribe of Montana laid off 180 seasonal employees, citing a budget shortfall.

The tribe originally intended to keep the workers on until the end of March. "The budget ran out with a month and a half to go," personnel director Cornelius Little Light told The Billings Gazette.

The employees were hired under a program created by Chairman Carl Venne to help with seasonal activities in the summer and winter.
