NCAI president to deliver State of Indian Nations
National Congress of American Indians President Joe Garcia will deliver the 8th annual State of Indian Nations address on Tuesday, February 10.

Garcia, the chairman of the Eight Northern Indian Pueblos Council and a council member from Ohkay Owingeh in New Mexico, will outline Indian Country’s priorities for the Obama administration and the 111th Congress. He also will discuss economic development, health care, sovereignty, homeland security and other issues.

The speech takes place, for the first time, at 12pm at the National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D.C. It will be broadcast online at http://www.ncai.org.
