Rep. Young forced from top Resources position
Republican leaders have forced Rep. Don Young (R-Alaska) from his position as ranking member of the House Natural Resources Committee.

Young used his position to advocate for Alaska Natives, Indian gaming and tribal sovereignty. He remains a supporter of self-determination and self-governance.

Young said he stepped down "for the good of the Republican Party." He is reportedly under federal investigation.
