Chippewa Cree Tribe denies election protest
The Chippewa Cree Tribe of Montana denied a protest from a candidate who came in third for the race for chairman.

Kenneth Blatt St. Marks alleged irregularities with the procedures for the October 7 primary election. He received 320 votes, 45 short of advancing to the general election.

Raymond Jake Parker Jr. and state Sen. Jonathan Windy Boy received the most votes for chairman. They will face each other in the November 4 election.
