IHS cuts contract to urban Indian health center
Urban Indians in Wisconsin will no longer have access to off-reservation services with the closing of the Native American Services center in Green Bay.

The center was informed that the Indian Health Service was ending its $276,000 annual contract. "They assured us we did nothing wrong," interim director Linda Dallas told The Green Bay Press-Gazette.

Last year, the United Amerindian Center lost its federal funding and was forced to close.
