Southern Ute Tribe wins $110K in biker rally dispute
The Southern Ute Tribe is owed $110,000 by the organizers of the Rally in the Rockies motorcycle festival, the Colorado Court of Appeals ruled on Thursday.

The tribe signed a contract to host the event at the Sky Ute Event Center in 2004, 2005 and 2006. Organizers pulled out at the last minute in 2006.

The tribe sued for breach of contract and won the case. Organizer Daniel Bradshaw appealed but the court upheld the judgment.

The case is Southern Ute Indian Tribe v. Daniel Bradshaw, No. 07CA2283.
