Blackfeet woman claims death of son an accident
A woman from the Blackfeet Nation of Montana claims the death of her two-year-old son was an accident.

Summer Many White Horses, 31, said James fell out of his high chair on May 28 at her trailer home in Great Falls, off the reservation. She said he died the next day but that she didn't call police out of fear she would be blamed.

Eventually, she moved James' body from the trailer to a car she purchased in early June, police said. She kept the body there all summer but no one discovered it even though she was arrested several times.

Many White Horses finally acknowledged her son was dead after police interviewed her earlier this month. She has been charged with deliberate homicide and tampering with evidence.
