Native games draw 4,500 athletes to Canada
The 2008 North American Indigenous Games opened on Sunday.

The games are being hosted by the Cowichan Tribes in British Columbia. More than 4,500 athletes, representing 23 teams, are competing in more than a dozen events, including basketball, lacrosse and wrestling.

APTN is carrying streaming video of the games, which conclude on August 10.
