Pine Ridge family of 15 children left homeless by fire

A large family from the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota is trying to pick up the pieces after their home was destroyed by fire on Tuesday.

Mary and Varden Fast Wolf welcomed everyone into their "Rez Mansion" in Red Shirt Table. The couple has 15 children, some of whom were adopted.

"I did all my crying last night," Mary Fast Wolf told The Rapid City Journal as she surveyed the damage on Wednesday.

The Black Hills Chapter of the American Red Cross is assisting the family. Anyone who can help is urged to call the chapter at 605.342.4010.
