Rosebud college to promote computer careers
Sinte Gleska University, a tribal college on the Rosebud Sioux Reservation in South Dakota, has joined a partnership to encourage Indian students to enter the computer field.

SGU, the University of South Dakota and the EROS Data Center at the US Geological Survey received a $511,336 grant from the National Science Foundation. The partners will use the money for Getting American Indians to Information Technology, a three-year initiative to promote computer careers.

The program will help SGU students further their education with courses from USD.
