BIA official made derogatory remarks about women
A senior Bureau of Indian Affairs law enforcement official made derogatory remarks about two female employees before he moved to terminate them, Indian Country Today reports.

Brent LaRocque, the number three law enforcement official, used the words "bitch," "stupid bitch," "those women'" and "complete waste of air" to refer to Agatha Tsosie and Stephanie Pretty Weasel, according to an administrative law judge of the U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board.

"From now on, you women are not here to tell us what to do. You're here so when we tell you what to do, you just do it. Working with you is like working with the Taliban, and [Tsosie] is the head of the Taliban," LaRocque, a member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians, reportedly said.

LaRocque is reportedly being placed on administrative leave, ICT said. Tsosie and Pretty Weasel are being awarded back pay and damages.
