Two dead in shootout at Soboba Reservation
Two people were killed in a shootout on the Soboba Reservation in southern California on Monday.

The incident was the second fatal shooting on the reservation in less than a week. Both times, sheriff's deputies from Riverside County were involved.

The names of the two people, one man and one woman, were not released. On Thursday, Eli Morillo, a 26-year-old tribal member, was killed in a shootout with police officers.

The Soboba Band of Luiseno Indians says the county hasn't been providing information about its law enforcement activities. There have been six officer-related shootings in the past six months on or near the reservation.
