Winnebago company's financial officer resigns

The chief financial officer of Ho-Chunk Inc., the economic development corporation for the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska, resigned.

Don McEntaffer left to pursue other opportunities, a spokesperson said. CEO Lance Morgan said the departure wasn't linked to a recent review of HCI's finances.

Morgan, a tribal member, said Ho-Chunk Inc. is in stable financial condition despite a high level of debt. He said the company has always made its payments on time.

HCI owns Indianz.Com and AllNative.Com.
