Indian museum in Oklahoma seeks $45M from state

The American Indian Cultural Center in Oklahoma City is asking state lawmakers for $45 million to move construction forward.

Overall, the facility needs $150 million. The 300-acre site will feature a museum, a welcome center and private development.

Construction began in December 2006. Officials say $45 million is need to keep the project on track.
