Santa Fe Indian School to hold student art fest

Students at Santa Fe Indian School in New Mexico are holding their annual arts fest tonight.

The students will show off their writing, storytelling, music, singing, dancing, rhyming, DJing, film, visual art and other talents. "The students explore who they are and what they are— that's what being a teenager is all about," creative writing teacher Tim McLaughlin told The Albuquerque Journal.

The school has already produced an award-winning poet. Fantasia Lonjose competed in the national Poetry Out Loud this past spring.
