Woman killed on Turtle Mountain Reservation

A 49-year-old woman, said to be the daughter of an American Indian Movement leader, was murdered on the Turtle Mountain Chippewa Reservation in North Dakota.

The woman was not identified and authorities are keeping a tight lid on the case. But local residents said the victim was killed November 4 during a methamphetamine party.

Some suspects are in custody in connection with the crime. One of them is a minor, KFYR News reported.
