Tonkawa man pleads guilty for death of daughter

Joseph Moses Begs-His-Own, a member of the Tonkawa Tribe of Oklahoma, pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter for the July 2004 death of his four-month-old daughter.

Begs-His-Own, 29, admitted that he hit his daughter in the head. The baby girl died of a fatal skull fracture.

Begs-His-Own faces up to 10 years in prison. In 2002, he was accused of abusing another daughter. The girls' mother, Danielle Ray Baker, awaits trial for allegedly lying to investigators about her daughters' injuries.
