Get ready for a sequel to 'Dances with Wolves'

A sequel is in the works to the critically-acclaimed and award-winning film "Dances with Wolves."

According to Variety, the sequel is called "Holy Road." It picks off 11 years after "Wolves" and follows the Comanche Nation.

Simon Wincer is set to direct. He directed the TNT series "Into the West."
