Winnebago Tribe recalls Ho-Chunk Inc board

Members of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska retaliated against the board of their economic development corporation in an election on Tuesday.

Tribal members voted to oust the entire board of directors of Ho-Chunk Inc. They were upset with the recent suspensions of chief executive officer Lance Morgan and another executive.

Morgan was suspended for eight days over a document dispute with the board. He said the petition to oust the board wasn't his idea.
