The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation of Connecticut si reportedly seeking to develop a water park in the town of Ledyard.
The tribe is reportedly in talks with Great Wolf Lodge Resorts. The Wisconsin-based company operates water parks and resorts throughout the country.
The potential site is 400 acres in the town. Tribal officials declined to comment on the proposal.
The Chehalis Tribe of Washington broke ground last October on a Great Wolf resort. The opening is expected in the first half of 2008.
