UN to consider indigenous rights declaration

The United Nations is set to vote on the Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples today.

The declaration is expected to pass. But the United States, Canada, New Zealand and Australia are planning to vote against it.

The vote takes place during a general assembly that starts at 10am. A live webcast can be found at http://www.un.org/webcast.
