Suspensions of Ho-Chunk Inc executives lifted

Two top executives of Ho-Chunk Inc., the economic development corporation of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska, are back on the job after their suspensions were lifted on Thursday.

CEO Lance Morgan and chief operating officer Annette Hamilton were suspended with pay on August 8. There had been a dispute about information the HCI board was requesting.

But Morgan, a tribal member, said the issue was cleared up after a short conversation. "It was purely an internal miscommunication," Morgan told The Sioux City Journal.

HCI owns Indianz.Com and its sister e-commerce site AllNative.Com.
