Man charged with murder of 81-year-old elder

A 37-year-old man was in court on Monday to answer to charges that he murdered an 81-year-old elder on the Mistawasis First Nation in Saskatchewan.

Vincent Roderick Dreaver is charged with second-degree murder in the death of Antoine Sand. Dreaver allegedly stabbed Sand outside Sand's home on the reserve.

Sand died August 6.
