Crow Creek housing officials indicted for theft

Five housing officials have been charged with stealing from the Crow Creek Sioux Tribe of South Dakota.

The officials at the Crow Creek Housing Authority used tribal money for personal purposes and accepted reimbursement for trips and items, according to federal prosecutors. The amount in question is less than $100,000.

All five have pleaded not guilty.
