Fort Belknap police officer admits to theft

A police officer for the Fort Belknap Indian Community of Montana pleaded guilty to using a government gas card for personal purposes.

Cody Neil Adams, 22, was supposed to use the card to fill his police vehicle. The Fort Belknap Police Department found out he was using it buy gas for his personal car.

Adams apparently purchased between $2,000 and 2,500 worth of gas. He pleaded guilty to one charge of theft of federal government money.
