Police pepper spray First Nation celebration

Royal Canadian Mounted Police officers pepper sprayed 15 adults and children, including two under the age of two years, from the Sechelt First Nation in British Columbia.

The Sechelt community was celebrating the victory of two youth teams at a soccer tournament in Vancouver on Monday night. RCMP officers said the small group got out of hand so they pepper sprayed the driver of a pickup truck that was carrying several kids.

Parents say they will file a complaint against the RCMP. The 42-year-old driver is facing several charges.
